When should I start my ortho treatment?
The right age for braces depends on your child’s needs. While most kids get braces around age 12, when all baby teeth are gone, some may need early intervention before age 9. Early treatments, like palate expansion, help create space for proper tooth alignment. That’s why we recommend an orthodontic check-up by age 7 or 8. If treatment isn’t needed right away, we’ll monitor your child’s dental development with yearly visits to ensure the best timing for braces.
